State Farm Mfon Ogbebor Agency Brings Red Nets Program to North Haven

On Wednesday, August 12, the State Farm Mfon Ogbebor Agency teamed up with North Haven First Selectman Michael J. Freda at G. Carl Veith Memorial Park to install new and improved basketball nets as part of State Farm’s Red Nets program.

The goal of the State Farm Red Nets program is to bring back the “swish” by restoring basketball hoops at courts in communities across the country. By helping ensure local courts are in proper working condition, the Red Nets initiative aims to strengthen community spaces, encourage active lifestyles, and bring back a sense of neighborhood pride. These courts serve as gathering places where kids, families, friends, and neighbors can connect and enjoy the game together.

For Mfon Ogbebor, the project reflects her commitment to supporting the North Haven community and creating opportunities for residents to come together.

About Mfon Ogbebor

Mfon Ogbebor is a State Farm Insurance agent and financial-services professional based in North Haven, Connecticut. Her agency offers State Farm auto, home, renters, life, business, and other insurance products, along with financial services.

Before opening her State Farm agency, Ogbebor spent approximately a decade in financial services. In 2025, she became the owner and operator of the Mfon Ogbebor State Farm Agency and continued her work in financial services.

Beyond her professional career, Ogbebor is actively involved in the Greater New Haven community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the North Haven Rotary Club and is a member of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved with the New Haven Chapter of the Providence College Alumni Association.

Ogbebor is an advocate for local sports and community recreation. She supports the Women’s Golf Association at Sleeping Giant Golf Course and is a member of LPGA Amateur Golf Association chapters in Connecticut
